Have Champagne in...Napa?

Welcome back, ya'll!

To begin, thank you so much for following my blog last summer. I thought about ya'll at every vineyard I visited, every meal I tasted, and every landmark I photographed. Our journey throughout Europe was remarkable. I look back on it, and am sure it was a dream. Not only did Timothy and I get to experience it, but our friends and family followed along, too.

A few months ago, a friend asked, "Are you doing anything blog-worthy this summer?" At that time, I planned on staying in Baton Rouge and working all summer, so my answer was a resounding "No." Unless you consider my never-ending quest for Lilly Pulitzer and happy hours "blog-worthy."

All of a sudden, just when I was settling into my 8 to 5 routine, Timothy sits me down and offers me yet another fabulous alternative: California.

Yes, readers, from June 27 to August 2nd, Timothy and I will be clerking at a San Franciscan personal injury law firm. Medical malpractice, products liability, oil spill claims, OH, MY! Not so interesting? Well, here's the best part...

Each weekend, we are traveling. From Napa to Vegas to Los Angeles to San Francisco to San Diego, we have quite a summer ahead of us. One weekend, we are visiting two famous restaurants and four vineyards. One week, we will be in San Diego. Another weekend, Timothy is playing golf at Pebble Beach. And our favorite weekend, we will be dining at Thomas Keller's The French Laundry.

So stay tuned, ever-so-faithful readers, and join us on another summer vacation.
