"So are these the Alps? The.. SWISS alps?"

Greetings from Interlaken, Switzerland, where the water is 10 times colder and the humidity 10 times higher. We went to the International Labor Organization meeting.. Thing for school in Geneva yesterday. We were put into four groups, the workers, employers, developed countries, and undeveloped countries. Timothy and I were in the developed country group (USA!!). Anyway, each group had to pick a chairperson and spokesperson. The topic was child labor and how to end it without ruining the economy. I was nominated as spokesperson somehow. Now I'm not the biggest.. Economy 411 follower. Luckily, my boy friend is. so I tricked Timothy into speaking for me. He was awesome and totally rocked that 2-3 minute speech. Hooray! After, we hopped on a train to Interlaken. It was my first train ride, so naturally, it was an ordeal. Not going into details just yet, since I can't upload pictures. Today, we went canyoning. The phamplet claimed that this was an easy-level, float-down-the-river, splash around excursion. False. I was basically that guy from 127 hours. But I kept my arm. We were hiking, rock climbing, climbing up waterfalls, propelling down 50 meter mountains. It was exhausting. I jumped off of a cliff between two huge rocks about 100 feet in the air. And of course, everything that could go wrong for medi. Details later. Tim says We're just not made for canyoning because we're lanky. Long legs certainly put you at a disadvantage when you're climbing through the tiniest crevices ever. With that said, I'm staying in tonight, to prepare for white water rafting tomorrow. Lesson learned: do not take a taxi in Switzerland. Ever. Stay tuned.
